batch capturing

while i was doing my assignment, there was this question that required us to develop one good topic for an interview. it brought back the memories of my last semester in my poly for my broadcast journalism, where we had to interview people for our news stories. i could remember the interviews i had, either with my friends (they had to cock up some bullshit so i could record it HAHAHA) or the relevant figureheads. i could remember the interview with the gardener and the mosquito bites, the PR personnel that i had to send 50 emails just to grab hold of their mere 5 minutes, all the smiling, and acting sweet and polite to strangers so i could make them talk to me, and all the shit i had to go through just to get a solid quote from a super long winded person.

bwaahahaha. all the memories.

and all that nostalgia’s flooding back. all the carrying of the 10 kg camera for my atv in the forest of lim chu kang and thronging through orchard road, the strong steady tripod that is too strong and steady, stoning while waiting for videos to render. all the “eh lets go and makan, come back our video still havent finish capture, SIAN” moments.

and while i was doing my newswriting assignment and attending my classes, i could vaguely remember what selvan said during j1 and j2, haha. this proves that i pay attention to lectures okay! it reminded me on how we always “pon” journalism lectures because we couldnt wake up for fridays 10am (goodness i could still remember!) or our stomachs are calling for self declared breaks, or when selvan had to resort to marking the attendance for our lectures. and how i could never understand a shit on what journalism was all about. hahaha.

okay enough of the recalling. some things are better not reminded. back to my assignment! sian haven’t start already don’t feel like doing already. *grumble grumble whine whine..*
