Today is the most unlucky/unfortunate/unglam (in this running order) day of my life (possibly)

Allow me to explain.

Apart from the non-stop rain today, I had difficulty walking with the fking heels. Every step I take my heels sink into the wet mud, so it gets kinda gross when I walk on grass. For those who wear heels should know what I’m talking about. For those who don’t, you lucky bastards.

Anywayy..as the entire department left for home early, and I didn’t want to be a spoilsport, I joined them as well to go home. It was 5.45pm. So when bus 24 arrived, I happily took it to Tanah Merah MRT bus stop to board 45, which takes super fast to get home (approx 10 minutes). So I sat on the bus stop and waited for about 20 mins before the effing bus arrives. Here comes the first unlucky moment. This stupid kid whose wearing heels (why the hell would kids wear heels. don’t they know it causes ergonomical problems to their ankles? ugh anyway..) who was in front of me stepped on my foot!

Worse thing is, she looked back and stared at me, like it’s my fault. HELLO! You stooopid brat. You’re in the wrong and you can’t even open your mouth to apologise. What you dumb or what. Kay nevermind! I’m nice! Don’t fight with stupid kids. I found a seat and sat down. Then this construction worker came and sat beside me. I was thinking “oh shit oh shit sure stink” then I prepared myself with the air con blowing in my face in case the smell became unbearable.

Who knew! (karma lah I think) The air con was so comfortable that I dozed off and fell asleep. When I woke up, I realized I overslept! And guess where was I?

*cue for drumroll*

I WAS AT FKING HELL SERANGOON CAN. Bedok and Serangoon. See the difference? omg lah. I wanted to smack myself. I wanted to alight and walk over to take a bus back, but it was pouring like shit outside the bus. so I got a little lazy and fell asleep awhile more : x. I thought bus 45 goes to Ang Mo Kio or something, so I continued, thinking of switching to bus 22 in awhile or something. Okay maybe awhile is an understatement. I sat on the bus for another hefty 45 minutes before it reached Yio Chu Kang. It didn’t stop at AMK interchange at all! Then my alarm in my head went off “Wah shit, getting further and further away liao. Should I alight. Should I remain. Should I alight. Should I remain.”
Just nice the bus arrived at the bus stop after Yio Chu Kang MRT station, and the driver said “Miss last stop”

SHIT. MAN. I alighted at this ulu factories everywhere inhibited bus stop with no one else at the bus stop except an indian that kept staring at me. I wanted to say “kua simi kua lah” but decided not to in case you guys will never see me type in this blog again. I looked at the bus guide sign (Thank SBS for this. They have done nothing right except for that) and there was bus 70M! I quickly boarded it and it was FREEZING I tell you! The rainy weather didn’t make things any better and I almost thought Ice Age was approaching Singapore. So okay fine! I thought to myself, I’ll alight at Paya Lebar and change to bus 8 or 22, then stop outside my house, and I get home safe and sound. WHO KNOWS! I sat on the bus for another 10 minutes later enjoying the water-flowing pattern on the windows when its pouring (call me weird, but there’s practically nothing else you can do, and in these kind of situations, this is the best thing you possibly can do) then my MP3 DIED ON ME.

WAH SIAN! I have to endure the remaining journey in silence. OMG! There’s no one else on the bus (except this lovely dovey 10 years never see each other couple keep hugging and kissing until no tomorow wait maybe really no tomorrow cause Singapore never experience an Ice Age on an SBS bus before but..okay I shall stop)  and it got a little creepy. Oh man just now I wanted to pee in my pants. Now I wanted to SHIT IN MY PANTS. (coincidentally I was wearing pants, but no I didn’t shit in it.) WTHOMGHAXSLASHBAN.

Joy to the world! 70M soon reached Paya Lebar. i alighted at the bus stop outside some factories (again. Wassup with all the factories sprouting out today) I checked Iris and the next bus for 8 is TWENTY TWO MINUTES and the next bus for 22 is TWENTY SIX MINUTES. (WTHWTHWTHWTHWTHWTHWTHWTH) Walao not my day!
K fine  I took a seat and was getting hungry.  So I opened my green Snoopy bag I was carrying and wanted to munch on a cookie from Subway (my lunch leftovers) when this bus 58 came out from nowhere! HAVEN’ EVEN GRAB A BITE CAN. WALAO I swear the bus is a ghost bus lor! Don’t know come out from where one. No signal no warning! I flagged my hand franctically, then the bus stopped about 10 metres ahead of the bus stop. When I boarded the bus (how many times did I type this phrase when I boarded the bus sia, this shows how many times I changed bus. Thank God for the concession pass.) I thanked the driver for stopping, but he BIN CHAO CHAO LOR. Still give me the wtf face. wth. K nevermind! I sat on the nearest seat I could find, and soon the bus reached Kaki Bukit in less than 5 minutes (I swear its driving at 120kmh, trying to get into an accident sia this uncle), and I quickly pressed the bell.

(HERE COMES THE UTTERLY UNGLAM MOMENT OF THE CENTURY.) Just when I was standing up and leaving my seat I suddenly stumbled and FELL DOWN! Not the kind stumble then stand up act okay one leh. Is the MY 2 JELLY LEGS WOBBLING AND NO STRENGTH AND I LAND FLAT ON MY BUTT KIND. OMG LAH. SOMEMORE I SITTING AT THE FRONT OF THE BUS, AND I FELL DOWN IN THE AISLE. FULL VIEW OF MY UNGLAM MOMENT. The bus was quite packed and EVERYONE STARED AT ME CAN. I swear I could hear someone laughing in the background. OMG LAHHH. DAM DAM DAM DAM DAM PAISEH! I faster alight and faster walk back home.

OMG LAH. Dam dam dam paiseh can! I swore everyone looked at me. Somemore when I fell I landed with a thud. Thank goodness the floor of the bus didn’t crack or break at my weight. OMG lah. Dam unglam. OMG.

Okay I faster bathe before anything happens. It was 8.55 when I reached home. It took me 3 hours to get home from Changi Business Park to Blk 643 Bedok Reservoir Road. wth.

Apologies for not blogging much recently! Been tied down with the new part time job, excursions (hehe) and work! I’ve been assigned to writing lately, which means I have lesser time to blog. So oh well! Don’t miss me you guys

Last Friday was the last day of the whole army of interns from BIT, and also the 2 comic interns from Comms dept, so the small army of interns from Comms went on a field trip to Changi Airport on Friday for lunch.

We had Shanghainese Crystal Jade. Like nice!! I liked the noodles in minced meat, and of course, the dumplings! haha. After the meal, we walked down the Crowne Plaza Hotel. (the newly opened one in T3). WAH dam posh lah! We took the next picture at the lobby.

Don’t ask me what those black dots are. I don’t know either. Looked like grapes though. HAHA.

After that, we had some random craving for ice cream. Headed down to NTUC at the basement (see we went to T3 so many times I practically memorised the entire map already!), bu NO BEN AND JERRY’S!:( so we went to T2’s Cold Storage, in search for the highly-sought-after thy Ice Cream.

After that we went back to opic (like finally!) after a 3 hour lunch break. HAHA.We had a farewell ceremony with them, and here’s the last group picture we took!

The family and I went to Marina Mandarin’s Aquamarine to check it out yo! The food’s great! I like the chili crab! haha.I had fun with the fondue!

We found Wall E SUPERRRR CUTE (oh my I’m so going to watch it when it comes out in the big screen) Then we decided to hold a competition to see who can drew the Wall E that resembled the most!

If you haven’t heard, well, I left my 2 years + job at bunk! There were mixed emotions when I left, both happy and sad, but thats life I guess.

Anyway, since I’m currently unemployed, so I’m looking for jobs! Any jobs please recommend me. Thanks!

Oooh, I’ve finally changed my blog skin after like a thousand years! It’s green! To add on to the save the environment festive mood. (Nowadays there’s so many of those recycling and reusing campaigns, wonder if they are actually effective…well..) Included my own header too. It’s actually picture of a building. I duplicated it and rotated it, so it looks symmetrical. Please give comments on the new look!

Anyway, yesterday was 101 accidents day! haha. So I was about to pack up and leave, when Yun Ru called me. Apparently, she stained her own pants (AGAIN!) so she asked me to leave together with her. Not so malu! haha. Then being the nice me, I agreed, and together with Naz, the 3 of us made our way to the Expo mrt.

Just as I was about to walk down the stairs outside Quest, I tripped on the hole in the drain and MY HEEL BROKE. WTH! So I called Moana and asked for her super glue (she once broke her sole too. lolol) and kind Naz went up to get it. When he came back, I thought to myself “oh my saviour is back!”

Guess what, the super glue DRIED UP ALREADY. Yun Ru gave the wtf face and Naz gave the “SIAN DIAO” face. I simply laughed my balls off. WTH! Suay to the max can. haha. Since we were outside Quest, Naz offered to get rubberbands from the aunty and I attempted to tie my shoe, but it looked kinda very obiang, so KAY FAIL. Forget it then! haha.

Just nice, Melissa and Mervyn came, followed by Moana behind (humiliations after humiliations) and now everyone knows my heel broke! Fascinating.

So I limped awhile more, couldn’t stand it, and decided to cab to Tampines with Yun Ru to fix my damned shoe. The cab fare was freaking $11 bucks. zomgoshwtfbbqtehtarikwithrotipratamoooo. I got my shoe fixed ($5!) and took a bus back. Faster go home before anything happens sia!

When I reached home, got one pile of laundry awaited me. SIAN DIAO! So I spent my entire night doing housework lmao. Didn’t dare to go out, later become 999 accidents record.

Let’s start from Friday!

I had this irritating cold (must be germs in my dept! Everyone keeps getting sick),and despite that, my friends all wanted to go crubbing on Friday night (cheryl’s birthday!) So all dressed up (not ready to rock and roll though) I headed down to Angela’s house and we cabbed down to Zouk. We had to decide between Phuture, Zouk or Butter Fac, but oh well, settled for Phuture in the end. haha.

So when we reached, there was a bit of unhappines here and there, and Cheryl met up with a HAM, and some irritating ang-moh ginas, and made new friends! It was nice, but very tiring. Reached home at 6-ish, and stoned!

Work at Interworld (the pool parlour in Katong) from 12-4, and headed to Bunk after that. Was so dead tired and stoned pretty much throughout my work. The entire gang of friends dropped by when I was about to end work and we went for a movie date at the Cathay. It was fun to hang out with a group of crazy people after work, away from the stress and all, haha.

Watched the Dark Knight at the Cathay! We bought a hotdog combo and a drink. The staff was damn rude. Kept rushing our orders, and overcharged me by $10 bucks! Thank goodness I checked the receipt. They gave me a wrong drink too. I asked for 3 ice lemon tea and a coke, but they gave me 2 cokes intead. pffft! Anyway, while I was in the theatre, I got the unlucky seat off sitting beside Howdy, and I swear he was the ultimate spoiler I tell you! haha. But oh well, overal, The Dark Knight pwns my balls and yours! Christian Bale is soooo handsome I tell you! hahaha. I wanna watch it again and again and again!! haha. And the poor lambo, my gosh, how could they just crush it like that! :(

Okay, after the show (was around 4am) we walked stoned to Centrepoint’s Mac and ate breakfast! Ver and I shared a big breakfast (I had the bun and ham, and she had the eggs and hashbrown) and we played Taboo! Our minds wasn’t working cause we were pretty much stoned. Big Ivan kept playing! Then the rest of all just stoned and zoned off.  It was fun pressing the squeezer and making everyone irritated with it. haha.

So we played and played (couldn’t rmb what happened. Too tired already) until it was time to get home! Ver Ivan CT Abek took NEL while Dy and Teh took the first bus home.

Hw abt me? I couldn’t stand it. Less than 6 hours in 2 days! I simply took a cab and snored home. lol. Lets go out again! haha.

Okay, for today, its Monday Blues to da max. not only was the Weather God mean to us (the weather was cool! I overslept, yet again…) by making the rain come on the way to work, the entire day rained like nobody’s business (yea maybe except the weather God). I’m freezing cold in the opic and we couldn’t go anywhere to eat (except the disgusting Signature. ugh!!).

And my company email (we use Lotus here) died. The server was down since morning till now (its around 4pm now.). I had nothing to do the entire day! So I went blog hopping, MSNing, online shopping, YouTube surfing, Facebookin and now I’m blogging! All in a day’s work. HAHA.

Alright, 4pm already. Off for my coffee break at Spinelli’s! (HAHA). Take care and don;t get caught in the rain okay. Stupid weather God (oh no later i kanna strike by lightning)

After work today, I went to Ikea Tampines to get some boxes to stash my barang barang. I’ve got 2 black motif-printed boxes (well it wasn’t the best looking but they are the better ones) and lugged them home. (mental note: take a cab the next time I’m getting home from Ikea)

So when I brought them home, I unpacked my 4-years-haven’t-packed-got-5-cm-thick-layer-of-dust-on-top cupboard and threw everything out on my floor. Wanted to take a picture of it, but my hands were too dusty. lol.

I began unpacking and packing, and came across a few things that brings back fond memories. Lemme name  them:

1) The mini balloon Daniel (Eng) gave me for my sec 2 birthday. (He called me Noggy.lol!)

2) Angelic’s Snoopy mascot box (it contained cookies, but are long ago expired.)

3) Carol’s small handmade notebook from Korea, alongside the wooden lame man keychain (he had a broken leg)

4) Mango and my twin’s One tough Cookie purple wallet.

5) Kenneth’s snoopy books he got me for my way belated birthday present.

6) Hong Min (HAHA)’s boxes of strepsils he got for me when we were dating, because I had a sore throat

7) My birthday cards from everyone during my secondary school

My student councillor badge. (and to think I lost it!)

9) Angela’s cheer up note. (haha! this one LIKE NICE!)

10) The Snoopy wallet Elie got for me. It wasn’t available in Singapore, only online. haha. Thanks!

16) Postcard from Charis last year Oct. Was grinning to myself after re-reading it.

17) Wallet (I realise I’ve been getting many wallets as presents. lol) from Hong Min’s family last Christmas

20) The wonderful Snow White and Seven Dwarves picture Benjamin (from my sec sch) drew for me, rolled up in a red ribbon.

21) Wooden Birthday card I got from Carol, alongside the broken flower edges beside it. Oops.

Yup, that’s more or less the nostalgic moments that I felt when I was unpacking my cupboard. It really felt surreal when I held each item in my hand, and look back in retrospect. I felt as if all the memories were re-lived, and brought back memories, happy or sad.

And what’s more, I was checking my blog stats, when I saw an unknown link that hopped into my blog. I clicked on it, and tada! It was Charis! haha. (the uncannyness after reading her postcard! lol) After spam-tagging at her blog, I went blog hopping around to my secondary school’s classmates. HO MY! They’re still there! I miss them loads yo! haha. Felt guilty, cause I haven’t been back since I grad. But come to think of it, I didn’t really enjoy my secondary school life, but only nostalgic of it after I graduated. haha. The realisation of seeing them write posts in their blogs gives me a sense of happiness knowing that they’re still contactable. (haha, sounds so wishy washy!) Let’s meet up one day and catch up! haha.

Alright, better stop rambling and feel sappy and all that. There’s stil work bright and early tomorrow!

Ahh like finally! Like a LOL (fari! your quote! HAHA) I’ve been working OT for the past week till 8pm everyday! So good that its the start of the new month, and finally got my life back!

It felt great having lunch with the other interns from TP. Feels great finally going somewhere away (no me Signature, expensive Quest or sad da bao food anymore!!) to grab a bite, laugh my balls off, crack lame shit jokes and laugh until like no tomorrow.

It also feels great to walk around in office and disturb people like I’ve always been doing. No more long hours in front of my thinkie and my messy table!

Anyway, been thinking quite a bit and smsing to tons of people for advice (tons is an understatement, practically everyone in my contact book. HAHA). Maybe its about time to get a change of environment. 2 years, afteral is a rather long time. Even the full-timers here don’t stay that long. (HAHA)

I’ve also got a new table! Those who’ve been to my house could have seen that the table was crumbling apart! Thanks to my brother! :D (he damn random, one day I wake up I saw the unassembled table from Ikea on the floor in my room lol)

Oh yah! My fierce supervisor (looks only ah!) praised me for my hard work! haha. I never expected that, and she actually praised me for speedy work, and another colleague praised me for nice pictures taken for an article. teeheehee.

My boyfriend’s going furniture hunting! Getting a new drawer and chair to match my new table. HAHA. And after that I’m going for a run, hope it doesn’t rain! Lose some weight yo!

It’s 5.30 now, 30 mins more to freedom! Feels great going home with a bunch of friends, laughing and screaming away. Sure beats rushing to the expo mrt in weary darkness! Am so glad my life’s back
