1. Biodegradable soap and shampoo

saw this at an organic store in Marine Parade
By that, it means soap and shampoo that can be decomposed, without sulphates and phosphates, and all that nasty chemicals. I would love one that is organic. In fact, biodegradable shampoos and soaps can be bought from organic stores. I’ve checked out a few. If they are hard to get, the one’s from Bodyshop’s Earth’s Lovers (Lemon and Thyme) are ok too.

2. Sunplay Sunblock 130++ and Sunplay Watery Cool 65++. Sunplay 50++ Clear is ok too.

I get tanned easily. Sunblock is my best friend. If you get this for me, you will be my best friend too.

3. Kayak hat, with a strap.

Any colour is fine, as long as it can protect me from the sun. Sometimes with the hot sun tormentingly burning me, all I need is some shade to hide away from the wrath.

4. Booties

I am so tired of getting cuts and ugly scars on my feet. I need something nice to protect my feet.

5. Snoopy Tote Bag.

6. Double bass mute

Don’t laugh. My rabbit hates my double bass, and it gets very noisy.

7. Cello mute

I lost mine some time ago while lending it to someone. I never got one back. P.S. I don’t want the comb-like one, would prefer the tourte.

Would love you deep deeeeeep if you could get me this. <3 This is an ultimate lifesaver man.

9. Snoopy pen (can be bought from NBC and Raffles City Basement, or the character shop at Plaza Singapura)

A perfect companion to my organizer.

2012 is coming! And yes, I’m a fan of wall calendars, and there’s a uber cute calendar with a snoopy soft toy in the middle (saw it in NBC at Raffles City basement). Really UBER cute! You’ll make my year if you get me this

I’ve been wanting to get a pair of birks since 478921457 years ago, and never got around to getting it. I like brown, so any shade of brown, with designs or not, I’m ok with it. I’m a size 8 (39) btw. Regular cut please.

Can’t get anything in this wishlist? Let me know. I’ll think of something else, just for you. Anything but cheapo mugs, photo frames and those you-get-it nonsense. And as the saying goes, what goes around comes around.

anyway, I’m doing my paper (last and final omigosh) now and random thoughts are running through my mind. Since this blog is prolly the only social media tool and no one sees, I shall use this to post my random thoughts then!

Ok back to topic, I was thinking of whether I am trying too hard to be with my friends, or doing too much for them. Or am I even a good friend to be with? Or am I just a hi-bye friend. No one really cares about me, and I don’t belong anywhere. Oh well, this is yet another insecurity issue I’m facing recently. Maybe I shouldn’t do too much for my friends, hmm..

Anyway, what am I doing here! I am supposed to get my sorry ass back on my paper. Ok bye to all. Thanks for coming anyway!

1. Canon S95/
My ol’ friend of mine (Ixus 860) died on me recently, so I am currently camera-less. Feeling a little handicapped just fiddling around with my useless handphone camera. Figured a point-and-shoot will be enough to get me going.

2.Canon EOS 50D
I’ve been really looking for a DSLR to take good pictures, and sometimes I get really frustrated at the limits of a POS. I’ve been borrowing my friends’, and honestly I get a little annoyed at how people nowadays can have those really fancy DSLRs and still take such amateurish photos with them. Not that I am good, but anyway… this present is really way off the budget for many, so I think I’ll just let this slide… I’m keeping my fingers crossed!

3. A new double bass bow
My current bow’s tension more or less spoilt, and so are the hairs. I once thought of re-hairing it but my bow is spoilt from the start. Would love having one new one though. hehehehe

Anyway, back to the post. I am flying off to Oklahoma and New York in less than 2 weeks’ time, and I haven’t started on my winter wear shopping and packing of my bag. Not that I should be kan chiong, but seeing all my friends getting ready makes me a little nervous too! lol.

Anyway, since I will be gone for a month plus or so, I really hope that I can catch up with all my friends and see everyone before I go, cause it’d be a month plus before I get to see everyone! I will miss everyone haha.

Maybe I should do something like that.

The prices have changed too. Gone are the days of a nice piping hot bowl of  fishball soup that costs $2. I can’t even find a $2 chicken rice anywhere! The cost of the living has skyrocketed, but the standard is still the same has become worse. Now my fishball soup has morphed into a $3.50 MSG laden water with 3 white balls. Noooo

People have changed. I myself have changed. I can feel myself slowly evolving into Miss Grumpy. I sulk and whine at everything. I learn to swallow any injustices, and end up carrying these burden myself. I stopped laughing alot. I stopped smiling often. I look at the posts in the past and realized my optimism has been long gone. I become more grouchy, and often view things in the negative light. Apart from me, people around me has changed too. Some have become more weary with added responsibilities, some have become more self centred. Cliques have changed. Groups of people found new friends, and forget their old ones. Contacts are made and contacts are lost. We stopped talking to each other about happy things. Gossip is the new talk. Bitching is a commodity.  Often in groups I have mutated from the social butterfly to the sullen lamppost.

Why is it so hard to change for the better? Is it that easy to slip into changing for the worse?

Things have changed. People have changed. I have changed. Have you changed?
